Is anybody taking this more or less literally at the moment?
After reading stories of even teenagers beginning to cough Monday then die Thursday, I've started to drink more, listen to all my favourite music louder, speak my mind more unashamedly than usual, laugh manically over spilt milk, drive at 33mph in 30mph limits, and give passing motorists the V-sign from motorway bridges.
Are you living as if it's literally your last day or week? |

My job has a very high mortality work related rate anyway. Every evening I leave for work I make sure I tell my kids (not sure my 18 year old appreciates it so much) that I love them. I live my day to day life as if its my last before coronavirus was a thing. Probably less likely to die at work now with not getting close to anyone and maybe that will stay after but who knows? But other then not being able to get my normal weekly shop deliveries on a sunday and suddenly having to be a teacher to my youngest instead of sleeping between shifts nothing else has changed |
