I have just been looking at BBC "special" news for the first time. I much prefer news on the radio.

20 minutes on Wimbledon being cancelled and one minute on 800,000 on businesses failing.

Is it me? Who gives a f**k about sport at the moment?

You do realise Wimbledon requires organising right?

Everything is not done centrally and there will be plenty of business who will miss out on this revenue.

Then there's ticket sales, hospitality, tax on winnings, transport, catering. Not to mention the people behind the scenes for TV and radio etc.

They're essentially the same thing. Wimbledon is a business and a livelihood for many smaller businesses.

It’s the jewel in the BBC sports crown (they have lost everything else !) .

Yes it is a business but my point is they are not discussing the business issue only that sport is being disrupted
