Hey guys, I'll be in Orlando for 3 weeks in June. Just wondering if anybody wants to meet when I'm there? Also any suggestions as to what touristy stuff I should see besides the parks. Thanks in advance |

Lake Louisa is beautiful and a complete contrast to the parks. Also Ybor city, to the west, is cool. Very Cuban feel to it and old school.
There's Celebration of you want the glossy 'Disney' version of that old style town. South and east of Orlando.
St Petes beach is worth a visit. Not a beach fan but this place is reasonably unspoilt.
Kissimmee old town if you are into classic cars and bikes, thur-sat are best nights.
So much to the place out with the parks!
Enjoy, it's a wonderful state.

Thanks! I'll definitely check them out. The place with the classic cars sounds especially good |

"St Augustine is worth a visit, history goes back to the Spanish settlers so actually has history (I4 through Orlando to I 95). You pass Daytona on I95 as another spot to visit."
Thanks I'll look it up. I'll be there for 3 weeks so I wanna see as much as I can and maybe meet some fabbers |

"Any other spots? "
If you like Classics head to Ocala, place called National Parts Depot has a museum in the back that's well cool. Some 1st off the line cars in there. It's just off the I 75. Not sure of the junction but think it's with the 40.

Theres a hot rod/ drag racing museum a bit south of there, Don Garlits, might be worth checking out too. I always see the signs when I'm heading to NPD but never been in. |

Have seen some fantastic suggestions especially St August in. Although some would include it in the theme parks I still say Kennedy space centre worth a visit .also be sure to go into the everglades and do an airboat ride.food wise the house of blues Sunday gospel brunch is an experience, sizzlers is best breakfast buffet, golden corral best evening buffet 50s diner in Hollywood studios is also great to be honest I could wax lyrical all day about florida if you come back and don't book again would be surprised |
