Coleford, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. |
My family visited Chicago a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it.
A great place to eat and drink is the Hancock Signature building - there is a bar on the top floor with fantastic views over Chicago. There's a nice restaurant on the floor below.
Navy Pier is worth a visit as is the boat trip through the city and out into the lakes.
If you like good beer as I do the Hancock Signature bar serves a great beer called Edmund Fitzgerald. It is a tribute beer - the Edmund Fitzgerald was a huge freighter that sank during a storm on Lake Superior in 1975. All 29 crew members perished.
I hope you have a great time and I'm sure you will. |
