Hi there,
We're flying into Nashville in Sept and will be driving to Memphis and onto New Orleans. We leave from Miami so just after some advice on the best way to get from Orleans to Miami
We could fly or is it worth driving to Jacksonville (long drive) and then down to Miami. We only have 2 weeks all up so just want to make the best use of time but to see your beautiful country
Any advice is welcome xx |

It's a hell of a drive, fly, it's easier.
Instead of flying into Miami try one of the regional airports, Palm beach on the Atlantic coast or Naples on the gulf coast. |

We just drove back from New Orleans to Sarasota took 11 hours including plenty of stops, driving here is not like in the UK you can cover miles quickly. Our advice would be drive maybe an overnight stay somewhere not a big city, somewhere where there's food / bar and reasonable hotels . It's a pleasant journey. |
