Hi we're booking a week in October (I know bit early to be posting) but wanting as much info as poss before we book.
Best hotel, don't mean 1000 dollars a night but also not a motel, one that's nice but also value for money.
Clubs, bars- are there any aimed at swingers ?
What sights would people suggest seeing while out there.
Are there places we should deffinately avoid ?
We'd love to meet up with some nice couples while we're out there as well. |

I stopped in the Tropicana, it's near the end of the strip over the road from MGM and 200 yds from hooters hotel.
It's called sin city for a reason, loads of strip clubs and prostitute but I honestly didn't see anything to do with swingers, but I was there for a family wedding so I wasn't really looking.
As for the hotel it was brilliant, great standard at fairly reasonable price. There were 2 queen sized beds in the room and we paid £250 for 5 nights, with a view of the strip out of the window
Enjoy your trip |

We stopped at the Luxor and at the Wynn and enjoyed both. Loads to see in Vegas and outside it, the shows are great and a visit to the stratosphere is a must. The cocktail lounge on the 64th flour of The Hotel is fab as is the Ice bar. Red rock canyon and and hotel are great if you have a car, we went to Mount charleston and watched the skiing(about 45 miles away) do the buffet in the Belagio it's great. didn't get much time for swinging tho!

Any hotel on the strip is ok. Remember the resort fees too. As for swingers there's 3 or 4 there's is information on thethem on a Vegas based website. West sharara Ave rings a bell for one of them |

We recently stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel (we got a very good deal on the flights and hotel on Expedia - £1000 for 5 nights for two in November. Good hotel but over a mile off the strip. We've stayed at a few hotels in Vegas and never really had a bad one.
Clubs wise we visited Red Rooster - a little strange at first but we had lots of fun.
The biggest tip we can give you is think about getting a hire car. Vegas is a big place (eg. Red Rooster is about 5 miles from the strip)and has lots of free parking.
Have fun... |

Vegas is an awesome place, we're back there in Feb for our umpteenth trip. There's a pretty good local scene there......as well several places that cater to (scam) tourists.
Hotels can be awesome value Sun-Thursday, but very expensive Friday and Sat.
Also be prepared to pay $$$$$ for the better nightclubs! If you want a seat it's bottle service everywhere.
If you're planning on playing hard at night....our most valuable advice is beware jet lag. In Vegas early in your trip 9pm will be 5am for your body.
All that said, our most memorable swinging experience was a party on NYE in a 3bedroom penthouse at the TRUMP.......f***king awesome night.
Enjoy your trips, whenever you go, wherever you stay. Feel free to private mail us with any questions. |

I went to Vegas for 16 days and thoroughly enjoyed the experience
Expedia is by far the best toolate available
I flew with vergin format Gatwick - faultless service
I stayed at the stratosphere - cheap clean well located with good transport links and the tallest tower in the state so no matter where you are in town just look for the tower to find your way back lol
Beware of the "hoods" behind the strat and circus circus I had a scrap there after taking a d*unken wrong turn lol
But all in all a epic town so get out there and see the real town not just the lights |
