they're definitely has to be an attraction there. but more importantly there has to be substance. a person could be drop dead gorgeous, but if the personalities not there. things don't work for me. |

"I myself seem to have to have some sort of attraction there, especially towards the female. Hubby needs that too. "
Totally agree, that there has to at least be some mild attraction there. Then to click on a emotional level is just the icing on the cake
Here's a question for ya....how have you handled telling someone that your not "clicking" with them? For whatever reason, be it attraction or their lack of communication. I'm honest to a fault but have found that not everyone can take things like an adult its been an experience! |

While looks are somewhat important a 10 with a negative or self centered attitude is a 1. A 5 or 6 on the other hand with a lot of enthusiasm and skill can rapidly get that number up to an 8 or 9. A different hair cut, different clothing style, make up, all these things can alter a persons look to make them look better. but ugly underneath, nothing can help. Personality can add so much or take away so much from a persons attractiveness.
Example.
For the guys, Jessica Alba
For the gals, Hugh Jackman
Jessica just lays there board, and Hugh is on and off in 10 minutes
Now on the other side.
We have for the guys, Alyson Hannigan
And for the gals, Jason Segel
Both are from the TV series How I Met Your Mother. Looks wise they are a 6. But say they screw your eyes out for hours and hours and are very adventurous. Don't get us wrong, Eye candy is good, But we'll take the latter of the two and try the trapeze.

I myself am more outspoken than he and I am very straightforward and honest, which I feel is both positive and negative in my everyday life. On one hand I tell u the truth and am not "fake", on the other hand I've found that people can't always handle the truth and want it sugar-coated. Had a "lifestyle" experience where "supposedly" honesty was key with them, then for whatever reason it just wasn't so once I was honest with him...needless to say they're no longer on site so maybe there was something deeper to it than that! |
