Just keep your wits about you. Keep cash etc out of sight. It's quite a dangerous place. I had a stopover there and the TV was full of all the murders, robberies and stabbings. I was too scared even to go and get food. I sensed it the minute I came out of the airport. |

I’ve been there twice, had no problems at all. Not sure about the lifestyle as we were there for more vanilla intentions but plenty to do in the daytime and the evenings.
We used public transport and were out late, no worse than any other big city |
