We’ve been to Desires and to several other options, Hedo, Temptations, Swing Cruises, Hotel Takeovers…
“Worth the money” is totally subjective….it depends on what you are looking for…
Of all of the above, Desires has the best accommodations and food choices….but we didn’t find the best “party” there. It’s extremely relaxed and we know many friends who prefer that more chilled vibe who love the place and go annually etc…
But only you know the type of people you are.. |

Personally yes we think it is. We went 3 times last year alone and are visiting again in a couple of weeks for our 2nd visit of this year. It can be chilled but also it can be super party. I think that depends on you. We usually chill most of the day at the beach but then at night we go all out. We’ve made a lot of friends there over our many trips and it’s gotten to the point now that when we go we tend to coordinate with a large group of people. I’d definitely recommend going and trying it out. There is also a new version opening in Dominican Republic in October, currently some very good deals being offered. We have booked already |

We are doing a couple weeks at desire and then moving onto DR for Xmas and NYE. We are at Desire in a couple weeks time so will try and press to see how the construction is going. From memory did they say that if you are staying at Grand Miches u can also cross the bridge into temptations side ? I will find out when we go desire |

Well thanks so much for the reply, as at the moment we're undecided between Desire or temptation, where looking for the party vibe and to meet like minded people, it's just which hotel as the prices are similar. |

Why not split the trip, half at TTR and half at DRM ? Many people do that their first time, test them
both out and then u know which u prefer to return to next time ? |

We are heading out to Cancun this October staying at the Royalton Hideaway. Is it possible to buy a day vist pass for Desire? We also looked at the Boob cruise which leaves from Temptation have you been on that excursion sounds a fun day out. Xx |
