"Cities are gearing up for election civil unrest is this a indicator of election results ahead of time?"
I saw this was happening in Philadelphia, but I haven't seen any indication of it down here in Florida. Needless to say I am armed and ready. Either way the election goes, people will have to live with it. Then you always have the occasional P.O.S. that will stir up shit and try to be the person who starts a revolution. It won't work. As Americans we are smarter than that. But most of Europe (the UK included) can't wrap their heads around it. |

It's nothing to do with an ability to wrap your head around it... it's about what is shown in a media which tends to put a sensational spin on events. That said, your country seems more divided and tense than it has in 60-ish years. That's the same as a lot of countries over here, the difference being very few people are "armed and ready" - thank fuck! So it's not difficult to imagine civil unrest as some deluded morons try to kick off a revolution that'll never happen. Revolting people. |

We have multiple firearms no matter how people play it it's called a force multiplier. We live in a society that Revere that right. Good or bad it's there to keep government in check. I am 5'2 I carry and hope I don't have to use it. |

Americans quote the 2nd amendment like its a noble honourable decree . Guns are the problem not the solution . The intellectual ineptitude of arguing for the ownership of guns is mind boggling stupid. |

Chicago has strict gun control and people get shot there all the time. It just takes the guns out of law abiding citizens.... i have concealed carry and hope to never need to use it. I take voluntary education and practice regularly. |

Very few wouk shave the guys to carry in through.
While Trump and his supporters might call for it the police and army would not allow civil order to break down |

I'm very pleased the right person has now been elected President of the USA though we have not heard the last of narcist Trump and his English chum, Farage. Do not jest about civil unrest in such a polarised nation; many lives were lost in the American Civil War in the 1860s and we must remember we had our English Civil War in the 1600s. Let's hope the genial centrist Biden brings this great nation back together. |

There were all American lives in the American Civil War. And how would someone from another country who dosen't ha e a clue as to what we want over here have an opinion on the president of our country.
Joe Biden and his ilk are democratic socialist. They are going to nationalize everything they can get their hands on so the government has complete control. Thats exactly what we fought our war for independence for from the UK. And we kicked your @$$#$. |

Yes he did both parties did.it was tit for tat. But now the patriot side of things. Why should anyone serve in the military anymore. When we look like the demons in everyone else's eyes. It was a horrible year just to try and get a election. From both sides of the isle." why are they seen as demons ? We see our military personnel with high regard and respect |

But the seeds of discord has been sewn.American internal strife is good for china. We just hope other people see this as a wake-up call and not pander to china.

He has to come in as more moderate. Pelosi and her agenda with the progressive Democrats is going to be hard for joe too. If he doesn't it is just going to be the same status quo different president. |

I'm a firm advocate for gun rights. I have many rifles and handguns. I can carry a concealed handgun, although I seldom do because I live out in the country. I've been shooting and hunting since I was VERY young.
Guns are not the problem, it's the unstable people that use them as weapons against other people for revenge that are the problem.
The US government will never take the guns away from the US people, so everyone need not worry about that because it's not happening. Although, that being said, they can legally stop certain ammunition from being produced and sold for civilian use. I may not agree with this action, but it could happen very easily and very quickly, because it's a legal action that has never been addressed properly in congress by gun
advocates.
There have been several presidents in my lifetime, both republican and democrats, that were relatively good presidents, that tried to help the average people because they were smart enough to know you need a good foundation, you build from the bottom, not the top. And these presidents were generally good gentlemen that actually cared about people in general.
Trump does not fall into any of these categories, not even close. It's has really amazed me how much he has pulled the wool over the eyes of so many people that he wouldn't give the time of day to in actuality. He's a golden spoon baby that couldn't care less about any normal people, not to mention all the other bad things he is. As I've said before, history will not be kind to him at all.
I hope Biden can do a good job, I think he legitimately cares about people, and I think he will try to help all people as much as he can.
He's also a big animal lover too, that's always a plus.
As much as many people hate the thought of it, it's inevitable that the world at large will progress to a more liberal way of thinking, because that's the only way it can go in a civilized free society. It's been slowly heading that way for centuries,
and it will continue regardless of those that try to
hinder it.
Hard core conservatism will eventually go the way of the Dodo Bird, just like trump, that's an inevitable fact. |
