Obama was stymied because the Republicans controlled the senate. Everything he proposed was blocked by them, so he was in a hopeless position for much of his presidency.

I'm thoroughly embarrassed that we have an idiot clown for a so called president. He holds the title of president, but he's definitely not a leader in any sense of the word. He doesn't have the intelligence to be president, or even a honest business man for that matter, and he's seriously lacking in any other aspect of being a decent human being.

Obama was a good president, he tried to correct things that needed correcting, but as someone else mentioned, Obama had his hands tied most of the time by several racist republicans, not to mention the non racist republicans that just wanted to go against him just for their own idiotic

views.

Biden will at least try to be a good president, and he will try to make things better for poor and middle class people. He will also try to eliminate trumps biggest tax break in history for the rich that the republicans passed.

Biden has many good ideas for the future of the US, and for our close allies. I just hope he can get his ideas passed through congress so it will do some good.

Trump is always in the news because he's such a clown. And they always find something to talk about. Sells news papers.

But there is plenty of good discussion to be had on the issues in the countries you mentioned.

Well I guess you know your own state pretty well, and I certainly wouldn't dispute the fact that there are many Trump signs around, but as Pennsylvania is a swing state and the polls show Biden holding a decent lead over Trump, do you think it's possible that Biden supporters may be a little reticent to stick Biden posters up due to the possible reaction from some Trump supporters?

The polls all said Clinton would win last time. They were wrong.

Then again, the polls are saying there's a bigger lead for the Democrat this time. Plus basing this sort of thing on one local area can't give the national picture.

He has a dedicated base of around 60m people. Out of a population of 330m that's not enough to guarantee him a landslide.

He may well win, but even if he does, it's going to be so divisive that it will be just the start of America's problems.

You know guys . Seriously . The world as we knew it will never be the same again . Covid 19 has .. no matter what country you are living in.has destroyed our culture . The blame game has really started . The thing . WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER.is gone.. this all started in china . Now usa .uk. india. Italy .france . Brazil all have more cases and deaths than them ... we who survive this will have to learn to live in a new world ..new ways .

Our children and grandchildren. Will never have the quality of life we had.

Here in ireland we have moved to level 3 . But in my opinion there will be another complete lockdown before christmas at the moment . Hardware companies are running short ofbasic materials they sell. Eg paint . Timber etc ... hope im wrong .but i see really bad times ahead . Cases of the virus are starting to rise very high again . As i say i hope im wrong and a vaccine in close .

I think trump is very clever staging his return to the white House, showing he is not afraid of the virus, he knows how to appeal to the masses, looking strong and defiant. Americans don't like weaklings. I liked Reagan, at least he had some charisma and class. Be interesting to see how it plays out, its all to play for.
