I am a Brit who lives here so don’t know if I qualify as “You folk”
But
No Trump has mishandled it from the start
It is not out of control but in some States it is worse than others and usually that is as a result of opening too soon or with lax rules
Unemployment was 3.5% in Feb peaked at 13.3% and is down to 10.1% don’t believe the bullshit record jobs created idea as they were all lost in the first place
Will he get in. God I hope not but it’s gonna be a shitshow whatever happens

We are copping. Yes there are more than 16 million out of work. Mostly because the restaurants, bars, entertainment spots (movie theaters, and theme parks) are closed or running at 1/3 capacity.)its not as out of control as you've been lead to believe. A large chunk of the country is sick and tired of being told they can't go out, and everyone has to where a mask or you can't even enter some locations. As for the numbers , this thing is less lethal than the flu. Only people seriously at risk are the immune compromised. I even have chronic bronchitis and I lived through it. I caught it back in March. So NO. Its nowhere near as bad as the press says. Trump has done an ok job. Honestly you have to remember that the "president of the United States" has very little control of what happens in the United States. That is left to congress and the senate. The president controls what we do outside of U.S. borders.

I speak as one who has spent many months in the US and understand it as best as a European can that doesn't reside there.
Trump has basically completely fucked it up from day 1 back when WHO informed the world that this shit would be bad He said it was a common cold and would be gone when the weather warmed up. (Covid19) I was tested for it through the nasal swab (negative) and I did the blood test for the antibodies (positive) my Dr estimates I had it in late February to early March. So tell me why do I need a vaccine that has a 33% chance of success when I am one of the 99.65% that have had it and lived. It was no worse than the flu. Which you get a vaccine for every year. But of the 200 or so strains of flu. |

Personally, with nearly 200,000 deaths so far caused by trumps total negligence towards this virus. I think trump should be dragged out on the front lawn of the white house, and hung from a tree on national tv.
