Hey all,
Figured the forum was an easier way to address all attendees.
As you'll all be aware the clubs in the north east now wish to hold socials. Many of which date wise will clash with my future dates.
I love hosting them and thinking of fun and inventive themes, however the socials have only ever been for the scene and to encourage a more inclusive scene. People travel from all the UK and abroad as many of you will be aware.
My question really... do you want me to continue hosting them? If so then April is the next one....
But its ultimately up to the people who attend and what you would all prefer. |

We've been to the last two and as newbies we have really enjoyed them. We would never have felt ready to go to a social at a club when we first started out. You make an effort to make people feel welcome and introduce people. It would be a real shame if you stopped them x |

Erm.... There ain't no social, like a Darlo social!!!! Your experience in arranging amazing events shows in all your socials and events, they are always aamzing. It would be a real shame to the community to loose your well planned and well thought out events.   |

"Yeahhh you have to do a social in April is my birthday, an we are determined to make the next one  ... So please Do NOT do it the weekend commencing the 24th xx"

The socials are good, but maybe a couple of times a year instead of every couple of months as there are too many to choose from now and less keeps it more special. Plus when you do key nights like Halloween and Valentines it clashes with other events people want to go to. Which dilutes everything, so that's not good for the scene.....just saying.. |

There are usually 4 a year as there has been since I started them. Valentines was only done as so many asked for it.
The north east is big enough considering where they are geographically.
I will always do Halloween as its my fav time of the year.... just saying |
