It is a great beach and I pop down there when I can. If you just want to sunbathe stay out of the dunes. As you get to the beach from the path the left side is generally classed as the gay side whereas the right is more straight.
My only issue with Studland is that I haven't got anyone to go with, so after an hour or so of reading my book I get a bit bored. |

It's a brilliant beach, with lovely water. You can get quite far out for a good swim and mess about.Lot's of fun happens in the dunes, the beach front being just naturist (obvs).
We've been going for several years now, always something going on.
Everyone, including the single guys are always polite and respectful.
Have fun.

"I’ve just learnt almost everything I needed to know from just this thread. I’ve had studlands on my wish list for a while, is the campsite nice too? "
The campsite (SSC) is nearby and nice, no real facilities (of course loo & showers) I.e. no bar or shop but there is a barn / shelter where the light a fire in the evening to chat around. Nice scenery around |

I often anchor my boat just off the beach there, only once had someone ask to come aboard, she was cute so I said yes, one of the best decisions I have made in a long time, dam that girl had skilz
Ladies and couples are always welcome aboard for some fun but it is a small boat with limited cabin space |

Sorry but why is it sad for men to walking and looking at sexy woman naked on the beach / dunes... a lot of use enjoy the thrill of seeing naked strangers ... like a couple may like role play or a lady may like a bbc .. we all have our turn ons ... as long as the guys are not rude / pushy I can not see the problem ... this looking has been going on as long as use guys have had a dick between our legs and studland beach is no exception ( I use to walk along looking when I was a young teenager ) ... maybe the main beach down by the sea will be better for you or a proper probe naturist camp |

If you want to be left alone from the men, you will be better off staying on the main beach and you wont get any hassles from anyone, the dunes is the wrong place to go if you want peace and quiet.
Just an friendly tip for you. |

well was there for two days. Bloody long walk but we went in wrong car park and also do not think we went far enough down but hey ho - sea was nice. Oh B.T.W. you ALWAYS get meerkats and people (always men) that have lost a phone or car keys - direction to car park etc what ever nudist beach you are on. Had more fun at Leysdown. |

Just been reading through all the comments from last summer, I was highly amused that the one person shouting about how the male population of the dunes pissed him off is actually on here as a single male. Some guys will go to great lengths to distance themselves from the mainstream male population. the word Blowhard comes to mind. |

Not too sure what you are getting at. Are you suggesting single males should not visit a naturist beach?
The overwhelming majority of single guys do know how to behave and are respectful. |

Never been but might put it on the list - what's parking like? Is it reasonably near to the beach? We would probably travel on our motorbikes so don't want to walk too far in sweaty leathers etc |

It’s a good 10 minutes walk from the road, park near the bus stop about a mile from the ferry towards Swanage and walk through to the beach following the path. Anything else you want to know then drop me a message |

No that is not what I was saying at all, I totally agree that 99% of single guys are totally respectful and well mannered I was having a dig at the guy who was constantly using capitals and talking about him and his wife getting pissed off by the meerkats but his profile on here is as a single guy and all his veris state he plays alone, my assumption is that he was only mouthing off to endear himself to certain married couples and and trying to make out like he was the only respectful male on here, Im on your side buddy. |

If you want to avoid the meerkats it’s pretty easy, just go on the beach rather than into the dunes
Love studland, hope there will be some summer left to enjoy it this year! |

We went there last September when the weather was good. Moved up into the dunes for a while near another couple who were playing. When we started playing, about half a dozen guys appeared around us but kept their distance which we thought was respectful. We enjoyed ourselves as much as they did!! As our hols to Gran Canaria won't happen this year we hope Studland will be a good alternative!! X |

Saw the Sandbanks/Studland ferry being towed by a tug to moor up on the quay the other day.
Seems they have financial concerns and it wasnt paying to work it of late, so I hope its operational for after the lockdown. else we're all be going via Corfe yet again to get there. |

Studland is a really nice beach. Bit of a trek from the public beach either end or direct through the woods but really well worth it.
We pop there whenever possible. If you go back into the dunes too far, expect to have an endless procession of guys walking past, hoping for an invitation to join or to perv you. Maybe that's your thing which is obviously fine.
If you stay on the beach or just on the edge of the dunes you get a bit less hassle.
If the R/H side (from bbq area) is supposedly more the gay side, you also tend to get less hassle we have found.
Don't let my comments put you off though.
We love it there. The beach is very clean and the sea doesn't go out far throughout the day.
Looking forward to spending some time ourselves there soon and love it when others join us, chilling x |

I love jumping on the ferry just gets annoying with queues in busy times. But then again it can just be queues going the other way. Think we need a bridge just for people hitting the naturist beach lol |

I've been there and its a very nice beach, straight forward to get to and very spread out.
I could not get over the amount of walkers and pedestrian traffic going up and dwon the beach though, never ending. |

I thought the chain ferry was shut down for the whole summer for repairs?

Sams as abroad eg cap d’Agde, if you get enough naturists out it’s the textiles who are in the minority as they shuffle by.
So what if they want to gawk? In France they get hissed at if they turn up dressed on the naturist section! |
