If anyone is thinking of heading off to Studland beach anytime soon. Be aware that the ferry running from Sandbanks to Studland is out of service until mid August.

I was going to go today but thought as I had to drive round I would give Ringstead a go instead. It was very nice down there hardly any wind and not overly busy

You can still get there via Wareham bypass but is a 25 mile detour.

Yes this has really messed up my plans to go next weekend .... to drive round is ok but heading back in the evening will be murder .....

Yes it shut when we were down,but the 1st 2 weeks in July were fab,sun out everyday. Got a nice bj on the beach lol

they must be losing loads of money, worst time of year for it to break down! At least it made the beach quieter last weekend

Think it some thing to do with one of the chain wheels going to be out for a long time looking for replacement
