I’m new to this scene, and I’m finding it difficult to get involved. Often people are wanting much older guys to do this.

Any advice?

(I prefer this kind of thing over relationships. I always have).

I have found people take you at face value on here, you really dont get much to show the real you.

You should broaden your search through other means.

1) Attend socials, meet people as friends so you can build rapour.

2) Goto clubs such as pandora or quest

3) This ties in with the above points,but networking. 90% of my social network has been built from others introducing me to people on and off the site.

4) Be confident.

The above post has great advice. We are lucky to have two good clubs in Leeds and Manchester is also easily accessible. What about a 'mums and young guns' event or 'Cubs and cougars' ?
