I'm amazed that that's been your experience Rosie. As a guy whose time on the site is mainly spent trying to find women for real-life watersports meets, my impression is always that it's much more of a "guy" thing. The high ratio of male to female profiles seems only to be accentuated once women are filtered down to those with watersports in their interests. And many of those remaining ladies "don't do pee play with fab meets"!
I can assure you that there are those of us out there who would be only too happy to commit to a wet meet or two, and certainly wouldn't be "scared off" by it! 
Obviously, a shared interest doesn't take away the need for mutual attraction, but if any women in Northern England are in Rosie's boat and giving up on finding a guy to play "wet" with, get in touch!
