I'm marshalling again this year.
Pardon the pun but the event has gone downhill in the 5 years I've been doing it.
Lots of manufacturers pulling out some lot less stands with cars and bikes to dream about. Less freebies too.
As for tips - it's not cheap for anything.
The new drift arena should be good, the drift cars are the ones that provide most of the entertainment.
Most of the entertainment like donuts etc. takes place outside the house.
The dragsters don't make it past the 1st corner.
Cars are most likely to crash at moulcomb.
Take the tractor up to the rally stage and walk back down. It's a long walk.
Jaguar do a drift course passenger ride, you may need to book in advance or get into a queue early.
Land rover do an off road course, again queue early.
Some manufacturers give you a free drink or trinket if you drive their brand and flash your keys. |
