Sadly all of the "known" doing spots are regularly patrolled and watched and many regular police patrols will include these.
That being said there are plenty of good locations that are a bit out of the way. Just depends where you are in Northampton.

It depends on whether your want recognised dogging spots, or just somewhere where you could pre-arrange some action. For the latter, any quiet, off the beaten track spot, is fine - you're just friends getting together.
Gloryholes are tougher, as the volume of them in public has diminished, leaving most now at clubs: and Northampton is a bit deprived  |
