I’ll be in London on business 21st-23rd December and looking for company for the times I’ll be in my hotel?will cover travel costs from anywhere in UK or EU and would be a fun few days |

This would look a lot better if you just asked if anyone wanted to meet up.
The second you mention that you'll cover costs, it all gets murky.
What if you don't connect with the person?
What if they decide a free holiday but don't want to play with you?
