The number of supposedly single guys on this site outnumbers the number of couples and single women by a factor of about 20.
I use the word supposedly as it is amazing that the vast majority of them can not accommodate, have no pictures worth looking at and a profile description of about 6 words. You then add in the number of them who hide their profiles between visits its a bloody joke.
How difficult would it be to stop individuals who have no pictures on their profiles looking at pictures on other profiles. Why should someone who is not prepared to show a picture be allowed to perv over other members pictures.
In addition to register as a single guy you should have to as a minimum put up a head and shoulders shot this would get rid of the vast majority of them who are on here to collect pictures.
So come on all you silver and gold supporters lets start putting pressure on the people taking our money to add some additional checks in and lets start getting rid of the bloody time wasters.

How will it do that? I'm not trying to be obtuse but nobody has ever been able to tell me exactly how these things will apparently get rid of time wasters that performing your own checks and how you use the site and it's present features can't... |

Or you can accept that by putting up risqué photos online, people will be looking at them in a way you can't control, block profiles that don't suit you, and use common sense and normal precautions to guide your actions? |

I can assure you OP that there are a lot of time wasting women and couples too. It's just in the human nature: some people are decent, some people aren't and they are of both sexes.
Not just on this site but I've come across lovely and rude people from all angles, sexes and background.
But guess what? That's life
There are plenty of other means to have couples only websites or places and it's absolutely fine but at the same time putting roles for single people on a website which is by definition inclusive of all statuses and gender would be wrong in my opinion.
This has never been a "couples only" website in the first place.  |

Except all the pic collectors will join as single women, or couples.
Or just Google search images of men,and copy and paste.
What you want is a system where only verified (including photo verification) people can see your pictures.

Very nice advertising, far from reality. Fact is 99% of people you give a message , delete or block without even looking at the profile. No matter what you write there or what pictures you have there.
That here is a closed society, a club or whatever. newbies can not find a connection here.
One single woman whom I wrote, went to the trouble to visit my profile and rejected thankfully . |

Head and shoulder shots may limit the timewasters, but my fear is people will want knees and toes after.
