Anyone help with a choice of hotel for weekend 27 October 18

We are down in Cumbria for the day but wouldnt mind adding an overnighter in Carlisle of Dumfries area - anyone there next weekend or got suggestions where to stay over.

Mid range - clean, ensuite and a bar would be ideal

If a reasonable priced 4 star was worth looking at then excellent as well

It's only an overnight stay but clean and ensuite are essential

Plus bear civilisation, as in some bars at least ??

Might want to try the likes of the Hallmark in Carlisle. Bar within, and there's plenty of pubs close by to tickle the fancy
