I have done, but I'm not always happy with the way it's dealt with in some hotels - especially the larger chains.
What I mean is, the dayuse site has a 'discreet' option. If I use this, I expect that discretion to extend to the hotel. So when I arrive and then I'm asked to fill in a form with all my personal details I try to object and explain. I'm often met with "Sorry, it's the hotel policy".
Anybody have similar issues? I'm thinking we could feedback to the website if I'm not the only one. |

It is not just Hotel Policy but a legal requirement. Hotels have to keep records of who has and had stayed with them.
It is quite common for people to use other names when checking in to hotels.
Having over 30 years industry experience, I can assure you that Mr & Mrs Smith seem to be regular hotel guests in lots of hotels.
Providing you give a name and address and pay that is all hotels and really interested in.
