I agree, there are 2 crown plazas in Nottingham City centre.
There are other good hotels but they are not in the city centre. The belfy and the doubletree Hilton are very good but about 3 miles out the centre.
Most of the city centre hotels are 3* only. |

Crowne plaza is superb and right in the city centre - my sister had her wedding reception there and we all stayed the night.
Avoid the lower budget hotels, they are usually full of stag/hen groups and are very noisy.
I have heard good things about the Hilton, another in the city centre. A little further out, near the train station is jury's inn which is meant to be good too.
If you would prefer to stay somewhere that isn't part of a large chain then have a look at the Walton hotel. It is just outside the centre and is an independent boutique place. |

There is one Crowne plaza - on Wollaton St and one park plaza - on maid marian way.
The Hilton is next door to the Victoria shopping centre. |
