My Wife and I are going to Birmingham in june for a weekend. Would anyone be able to give us the names of hotels in the area? Or is it far from Birmingham city centre? Thanks in advance.

Darlaston is a fair way out of Birmingham to be honest. Our advice is to look for a hotel around wednesbury or Walsall. Or you could stay at Chams they have a hotel. |

Thanks for replying. Yes somewhere in the middle would be ideal. Thanks again x |

If you're going to the area for Chams I'd look at the Holiday Inn at J10 of the M6. But if Chams is just part of the weekend and you have other stuff on I'd recommend staying near the centre - it's only about 20 minutes to Chams. |

Chams will be our nights out on the Friday and Saturday. Bit of shopping and being tourists during the day .
City centre might be best bet? |

City centre might be best bet?" I think so. Then you’re close to everything for daytime. |

If you looked at staying Junction 2 on the m5 (Oldbury), there are a fair fee hotels there, its was to get to, parking is easy and you are halfway between chams and Birmingham centre. |
