Those of a mature age tend to go to Mathew street or an alternative is the Top end of town as it's known. Near Lime st station, lots of decent bars there. |

Around the corner on Great Charlotte st and Raneleigh st. Lots of bars and heaving of a weekend as I can testify to last night !!! |

Around the corner on Great Charlotte st and Raneleigh st. Lots of bars and heaving of a weekend as I can testify to last night !!! "
Agreed about bars in that area. But Central Station not Lime Street!!! |

Liverpool too .
We're in our 40,s so I guess Mathew street would suit us ?

Yes your right we stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Reading that was lovely too !
Liverpool close to the centre seem to be priced quite high though £150 upwards |
