I wouldn't class mine as professional but they are self-shot with a Nikon SLR on tripod and with remote shutter release. You can't appreciate the quality on FAB but they're pretty good no? Mobiles takes shit pictures indoors.

People take shit pictures indoors, cameras don’t! Whether it be a SLR or mobile both are perfectly capable of capturing what is put before them.

Christchurch and Watford Herts

You will also find a good amouth of lighting helps so you can get a greater depth of field ( ie more in focus ) also faster shutter speed so movement is not blurred.

I prefer pictures taken by other people as a couple do their thing as you can get better angles and the whole body and not just what you can get in with the length of your arm ....

The amount of light available has absolutely nothing to do with depth of field.

I like A very shallow depth of field. It's what gives images a look that separates them from cheap phone pics.

It comes down to how open your lens can go and if you on a ff or crop. A 1.4 on a ff at close range has an inch max dof

Sevenoaks

Well I'm not professional as such but photography is a hobby. I have been lucky enough to have been invited to, and taken, photos of various copies. They keep the images but I usually get sent a couple as a way of thanking me.

Always interested to chat to any couples that are thinking of this. I can help.

I have a my own cameras, equipment etc EG portable studio lights etc.

Based near Sevenoaks, Kent but can travel easily to London, Essex, Surrey and Sussex

Tony

Seems odd you don’t use it more? ..... and I’d really leave ‘cheap’ phone pics out of it..... current phones are pretty good in the right hands...

I've noticed the majority of pics on here are very close up ....to the extent you can't see the persons real figure/shape /size etc
