Hexham

Don’t look for a good parlour. Find a good artist for the style you want.

And be prepared to travel

As above go for artist over parlour. Best bet if you have it is to try searching instagram with #tattoobrighton its where all artists get most of their work now days. Sashanicole is good at black and white

As a general rule.....you get what you pay for.

I’ve had £50 per/h tattoos

I’ve had £100 per/h tattoos

Guess which I keep going back to

Generally.......it does.

There’s plenty of £40/£50 tattoo artists around, there’s a selection in most towns and cities. They’re also usually the ones who can fit you straight in.

The guys who charge more and who usually own their own studio, can charge what they like, people will pay it if their work is good and they’re most likely booked up for a while.
