Ibis hotel Irving street Birmingham

Just wondering if anyone has stayed at this hotel? Are the rooms easily accessible? I’m thinking of staying there for a night soon to get used but need to know if guys could just walk in without any need for reception getting involved? Thanks |

At all of the ibis hotels we've stayed, we've had to use the room key card to access the lift or stairs to the rooms. Reception aren't really arsed who you are so long as you can let yourself upstairs.
You could meet people downstairs and then take them up. So to speak...  |

Gate on reception side is open in the night and is hidden from reception so should not be a problem |
