Pandora, Leeds

I've been contemplating giving this place a visit for a little while - I only recently heard about it - but thus far haven't plucked up the courage as I'd likely be going alone.

A friend (more of an acquaintance) said in the pub this week braggedly (perhaps a made up word) that him and his mate had been to the place the past couple of weekends and spared no detail when letting us all in on their antics.

Now, no disrespect to these two lads, but theres no denying the type of character that they are.... Binge-drinking, drug-taking, loud-mouthed chavs would probably be an apt description....

It got me wondering what type of people actually go to Pandora, so I thought I'd ask here.... 'cos if these two got up to what they said they did, it would probably deter me from going. Mainly because it's concern me a little that those frequenting the place would give these sorts of lads the time of day.... And more, it seems.

We went last Sat night, fairly busy with couples and single guys. All the single guys behaved (as far was we saw) perfectly, certainly no-one there that fitted your description of your friends.

We’re not snobs but wouldn’t give chavvy d*unk drug taking lads the time of day. We have been to Pandora’s and had a little fun with another couple but not really seen lads of that description

Never been to clubs not really my scene heard about place im more up for meeting single fems or cpls for a few drinks in bars around town and see how it goes

Plus heard clubs expensive for single blokes

We went along last Thursday night. The place is reasonably new and still having work done to it. There's lots of bits and pieces still to finish. The good side is that the staff are very friendly and engaging and there's a good choice of rooms and different areas to be in. They have a small spa area which we liked. The only downside is there's no sex allowed in the pool or hot tub. There was two other couples there and a handful of single guys. It's a big club, too open plan, and need lots of guests to create an atmosphere. We'd try again but on a Saturday.

Partners in bury does, at least for the kage event but they also heavily chlorinate it to prevent problems.

Hi,

At Pandora we use non-chlorinated chemicals to clean our pool and Jacuzzi to avoid the nasty chlorine smell lingering around the wet area. As a precaution we do ask for this reason that nobody has sex in the water

Why not try out our water bed on the first floor instead?

OP You don't actually know if these "binge drinking, drug taking chavs" even went to Pandora's or if it was just their fantasy . Why not visit the club and see for yourself before posting such negative comments.

We’ve been to Pandora’s a few times now (and plenty of other clubs) and I’ve never seen anyone even vaguely matching that description in any club, in fact we were at Pandora at the weekend and there was no one like that in there. Any decent club wouldn’t host a loud mouth on drugs, let alone could I see them getting any action when the nice single guys can find it tough to get a look in. I think you’ve probably been told a few lies.
