My friend just came out to me as asexual and is finding it hard to meet people as everything is geared towards gay or bi groups or dating. Does anyone know of any events, clubs, societies or dating apps (esp in S Wales) that she could attend?

Get him/her to join a social activities group like meetup or something like that.
Take up a hobby and join a hobbiests group. |

Not at all. An asexual can still be homoromantic, heteroromantic or biromantic. And some who identify as asexual can enjoy sex with the right person, they just don't necessarily have that interest in anyone until a suitable emotional attachment has formed.
I must admit that, of the four true sexualities (asexual, bisexual, heterosexual, homosexual) it is the most difficult to get your head around, unless you are one.
