The commentary is normally broadcast on fm radio. Take something to receive it on, and ear phones. The normal load speaker system is pretty useless.

On one of the practice days it is good to get down to the entry to the Maggots Becketts complex. At the entry you are quite close to the track. Get a good impression of the cars speed, as they go in and through the complex. Sometimes see the cars get a bit of a wobble on as they get it wrong.
If you can take one a bicycle is handy to get around the circuit on, to see cars from different points . Also handy if you are camping.

Little tip for those camping take a couple of those self adhesive plastic hooks for clothes when you ise the shower facilities otherwise your clothes are going on the soaking wet floor just stick it on the mirror in the cubicle enjoy guys i may go again this year if i can save uo those pennys |

the shower block i used this weekend had hooks already in but showers were too hot

Does any one know what the Sunday post race track walk is. I'm guessing its a walk round the track, but I didn't think they let any one on the track.

ive never been to Silverstone my self, but as far as I know its in the woodlands lively camp site, there doing Brooklyn brewery and Erdinger amongst others, ive been advised to look out for Brooklyn's local #1 and Sorachi ace beers, Erdinger as far as I know do mostly wheat beers.

Again as far as I know the craft beer tent was new last year and is back this year, that's where you'll find Pesh, I fancy seeing Reef on Saturday (I think), but other than that, if theres no racing ill be at the bar.

At the end of the race they open the gates onto the track, people are usually queued up at the nearest ones to the podium a few laps before the end of the race and then its a mad race to the front. Last time we went we walked the length of the pit straight. Pretty good way to end the weekends racing, with a good atmosphere |
