Dear All,
Am going to arrange a Social in Liverpool for Saturday 30th July 2011.
Am going to look for a City Centre location that has excellent accessibility for all whom want to attend... both in location & actual venue being able to enter / move around.
Before, going to a couple of places I need some indication that people want to attend. If I get a decent response via this & my Inbox then I'll go ahead with getting a venue.

Social:
When members meet each other in a Pub or sectioned area such as a Function Room.
No play a.k.a Sexuality Activity can occur during a Social.
Dress code is what people would wear for a normal Saturday City Centre night.
Any member can attend Single or Couple.
The ONLY rule is if people say they attend then they do & good behaviour in respect to all during the event.
Names have been noted & I'll be looking at venues, next week.
I need people to place their interest on this.

I wish people would read...
A Social is designed to be in a normal or vanilla environment; so members can be sociable without any pressure of having to actually play.
Any member of Fab Swingers on the list CAN attend... this includes Singles & Couples. |

Due to a member of my family having serious illness, I haven't sorted out a venue at the time of sending this message.
I'll be getting on the task in the next couple of days & should have conformation within the next 5 days.

Got a venue but need your advice...
One is FREE but only till 11pm - Closing Time.
The other can open till 2am but requires £100. For this to occur; I'd need a minimum of 30 people to attend putting £3.35p into a kitty EACH.
Am willing to put a £20 deposit on the venue but I need to know within 10 days if people are willing to go with the Kitty idea in getting the venue.
I also need to make sure that people WILL attend; as I don't want to be left short having to pay out of my own pocket.
I'd like to stay in one place till 2am; as people tend to do their own thing / split into different groups.
The Social is going to occur on Saturday 30th July but at what venue? |

I'm quite happy to throw a bluey in the pot. It would be nice to know the venues though. Are they of the same quality/accessibility/in a nice part of town? It might be worth taking the 11 o'clock bar if it's a quality gaff in a nice area rather than staying in a dive for an extra three hours. |

Rule of holding a Munch or Social is...
Date of event is released in advance then 7 days before the event the actual venue location is released.
Venue details are always sent via PM / Inbox & NOT in the Forum to those that have mentioned they ARE attending. |

Erm.. I find it strange that a certain member that's blocked me in the Chatroom is commenting on my event?
Anyways, this is the score as I've mentioned it before in this thread...
The venue can close at 11pm or 2am.
To get the 2am, a charge needs to be paid to the venue to pay for additional staff working the Bar located in the Function Room.
Am not doing Food or Entertainment, in the previous Socials I've arranged on another well-known Website this hasn't occurred.
People can have a good-time & laugh meeting each other & talking.
I've attended events when the Host(s) HAVE put on Food & Entertainment guess what occurs...
People either moan about the Entertainment NOT being good.. as if a Judge on The X-Factor then the food is left.
I've seen £100.00p worth of Food being thrown away at the end of it.
If you want to attend then do if not then why comment... I'd rather have those experts send me a message via Inbox rather than making it public. |

Liverpool is not that big a place where a taxi will cost you loads to travel to this venue. You could try the cheaper hotels on the Dock Road, or the posher ones at Queens Square. |

To be fair to both sides, I know personally that the Leeds one has been getting organised for a good while. I got asked by the guy organising it would I like to attend a while ago, but I had already said yes to the Liverpool one. As far as the reference to your post on the Leeds one, there was nothing rude whatsoever in it. You were just purely stating something.

What drama has occurred today, around the venue for the Liverpool Social.
I received a Telephone Call from the Owner... they want the money in full by Thursday or the venue's lost.
I mentioned that the original agreement was the majority of the fee would be paid on the night & by closing time but it's changed.
Without the owner realizing I booked a back-up venue for the same date that's near but is FREE.
Yet, the Bar is open till 12midnight rather than 2am.
So the Social is still going on but will be 7pm till 12midnight & will be FREE. |

This is a summary for people that want to attend but haven't read the above...
1). People who attend MUST place their names on the Fab Swingers Forum.
2). People who attend MUST be members of Fab Swingers.
3). The venue will NOT be given until 7 Days BEFORE the Social; that's Saturday 23rd July.
4). A Social is a Vanilla Environment / Experience therefore as if you would behave as if a normal Saturday night on the Town.
5). Attendees must respect fellow attendees in terms of Sexual Boundary / Human Rights in short be polite friendly.
6). Be Booze Aware, don't drink loads... please.
7). Venue's nice & relaxed we have our own private section.
8). It starts from 7:30pm till 12midnight. |

Am going to arrange a Social in Liverpool for Saturday 30th July 2011.
Am going to look for a City Centre location that has excellent accessibility for all whom want to attend... both in location & actual venue being able to enter / move around.
Before, going to a couple of places I need some indication that people want to attend. If I get a decent response via this & my Inbox then I'll go ahead with getting a venue.

67 people have placed their names down.
I really hope that if you can't make it are are unsure about attending for whatever reason please pull out as the NEW venue is slightly smaller.
I can't have people letting me & this community down.
As organizer I will be more upset if people don't turn up on the night.
Please be sure within yourself if you WANT to attend, as your place could be taken by others.

When the 85 number is reached I'll be doing a Reserve List; so if people pull out then others can take their place.
It's Summer, so people may see a last minute holiday deal or Weddings take importance. I can perfectly understand this occurring. Hence the need for a reserve list.
The mentioned Reserve List will be created in another Post in the UK Section of the Forum as NOT to confuse people.
If you want to go then please still place your interest. |

please remember sum peoples plans can alter on the evenin uits self, no ne can predict thing like kids being ill or thecar breakin down,or babysitter not turning up , not everyone turned uo at the wigan onw last week sum didnt let us kno but those that came had a gud night |

I had previously mentioned that I will NOT be doing Food OR Entertainment.
Firstly, it's a chance for members to have a drink & actually communicate in person.
Secondly, I've done in previous Socials I've arranged the Food & Entertainment bit & what occurred...
People didn't like the Food or the Entertainment = a substantial loss of money for me & feeling of disappointment.
If other's want to do this at their Socials; then that's their decision.
It's a Pub Function Room with people that are members of this site... 7pm till 12mindnight totally FREE for those that are Fab Swingers members that have placed their names on the list (providing I haven't had any issue(s) with them in the past).
I hope people now realize what the event is now.

I have enough understanding as an individual should an attendee(s) has a last minute unavoidable problem.

Friday 3rd June 2011 - UPDATE:
The below list are from people that have confirmed they WANT to attend the Liverpool Social 2011 on Saturday 30th July.
Some members after re-reading the entire thread left some ambiguous responses & some I can't message as they have blocked Single Males from sending messages via their Fab Swingers Inbox....
I need to be able to send attendees messages directly to their Inbox around Venue Location & anything I'd rather mention on a private rather than public forum.
If I can't get access then their place(s) go to those on the mentioned Reserve List (86+).
At the time of creating this list 53 People are on therefore leaving 32 available places still up for grabs.
Liverpool Social 2011 is a FREE event & starts 7pm till 12midnight. It's recommended that people try to arrive early rather than late.
