Chichester is beautiful, even if those peregrine falcons at the cathedral were hiding, the buggers.
One friend described it as "God's waiting room", though. Think he might have been a bit disappointed? |

Cor yes! Love watching those birds in the cathedral! Especially when they get in right flap! Always up for a bit of peregrine-watching! But they're very flighty birds - never know what they'll do next! Best thing is to watch 'em like a hawk! |

Long shot, but....if you were the cute girl jogging in the pink top, dark leggings in w**** road Chichester, this morning while I was trimming the top of the hedge, I would love to say hi! |
Reply privately (closed, thread got too big) | |
Enjoyed a very pleasant visit to Chichester on Sunday whilst on a trip to various places on the south coast over the weekend. The weather was gorgeous and enjoyed a lovely carvery in the beer garden of the Nags Head - entertainment provided by the guy on a nearby table who had recently returned from Amsterdam and gave a blow-by-blow account of his adventures in the red light district to everyone within earshot (ie everyone) .
Had a wander around the market afterwards and up to the cathedral and back. Super place and would definitely visit again.
