We're off to Dorset in a couple of weeks time and hoping for some nice weather so that we can sunbathe at the studland naturist beach. We've never been before so no expectations but does swinging go on and if so, does anyone have any good advice to give? |

We arrived in Dorset yesterday and will spend a lot of time at Studland. It is a naturist beach primarily and is patrolled regularly to ensure nothing goes on. On the actual beach itself, you will get whole families enjoying the lifestyle.
However, behind the beach in the dunes - even with patrols!- play does go on! Generally speaking though you will have a massive problem with the meerkats! And they can be very brazen!
Later on in the early evening is supposed to be better (we assume they have to go home to their wives!) so we will be trying that out this year.
Also, make sure you head to the correct area, as there is - as with most beaches like this - a clear demarcation for nudity and within that, areas for gays and couples! If nothing else, enjoy getting an all over tan! X |

There are regular patrols, both by rangers and sometimes the police.
Long running situation with naturists having to defend the right to sunbathe naked and calls for it to be banned due to inappropriate behaviour in their eyes.
There are secluded spots in the dunes but the meerkats are always on the lookout.
Traditionally the area north (towards Bournemouth) from the refreshments hut is gay and south for couples but it's not set in stone. |

OK thanks for the information guys. We are intending to use our three days to sunbathe and get an all over tan (if there is sun of course), but you never know if an opportunity arises, always best to know the protocol lol. Have fun xx |

I went to studland last year for my all over tan. Amazing beach. Amazing people.
I did see one couple playing and yes the meerkats watching and wanking. People always in the dunes. So if u want a tan only stay on the sand. If u want to play with hubby and have an audiance or maybe even invite someone to join you the dunes look perfect.have fun |

We were there last year and had a great time both sunbathing and swinging. Yes there were meerkats but to be honest Penny enjoys them lol - see our pics.
Apart from one or two very odd men, most of the thirty or so blokes we saw were either very discreet or decent enough to come and say hi.
As for patrols. Yes they're doing their job. Our trick was to ask the meerkats to lool out for them lol.

Forecasts that we have been looking at indicate the start of this fabled heatwave next week ! Been here since Saturday, warm but breezy and showery so far. |

Ah thank you all for your advice, we hope all you naughties are having fun or have fun if you're going soon. We're there from 23/7 for 3 days so hopefully by then the heatwave will be upon us. Hope to come home with no 'white bits' xxx  |
