Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum |
I'll be in Newcastle May 21st for a concert at the Arena and hopefully a meet before or after. City centre Premier Inns and Travelodges all booked up so any recommendations gratefully received. Has to be within walking distance of the station and arena or on an easily identifiable bus route that runs late (concert prob finishes about 10.30pm). Not too expensive, so Hilton not really in my budget. Also it has to be amenable to loud sex, so a 3 room B&B run by a silver haired old dear prob not best.
Help please? |

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack! |
Can`t help you hotels, sorry to say but as for transport, don`t forget the Metro which I`m told is good value for money and no doubt will run to a sensible time in the evening. |

Taking the prices from Laterooms, there is very little in Newcastle available on that date that is low cost, even the Travelodge on the quayside is £100!!!
Suggestions with prices are: Jurys Inn (near arena) £147
Hilton (Quayside) £115 (probably the best value as its a nice hotel & no noise issues)
Copthorne (Quayside) £118 - Not that great a hotel
County Hotel (opposite train station) £84 - Don't know what it's like these days, but it used to be very poor.
Sorry it's not good news on the tariff front, but hope the above helps |
