We are off to Cornwall in a couple of weeks and always enjoy going to fishermen's cove for a bit of naked sunbathing...
We always wonder if anybody down there are swingers and have a bit of play time down there.
Do anybody else go and is there any other nudist beach beach stIves and newquay. ?? xxx |

Ditto the above. If you're down out of the school holiday period there are plenty of isolated beaches on the lizard, not 'swingers' beaches but discreet and isolated. |

Play does occasionally happen at Fisherman's but away from the main mahogany naturists! We've just discovered that play goes on in the dunes near Hayle, but on a very small scale. Message us if you want more info.
Vault Beach is definitely on our 'to visit' list! |

We always walk across the dunes from stIves bay campsite to the sunset cafe but never see anybody play.
Where about is it?!
We have been at fishy cove and a couple kept looking at us so we ask them if there was anymore nudist beaches in hope they would say they was swingers. lol.
but they didn't and felt awkward ask as we went over to them.
We normaly sit the other side to all the single males that are down there. Xx |

The beach is called pednvounder, just below treen (Logan's rock) on the south coast. The most beautiful beach in Cornwall. Check tide times as it can and does get cut off on big high tides, you can walk round from porthcurnow or via the coastal path from treen...this does include a tricky decent down rocks. Has a strong naturist community and swinging activities would be frowned upon...unless you catch it empty then you can do what you want! Well worth a visit. |

We are staying near vault beach between 9th and 16th July. Sounds like we might have more fun than we bargained for judging by these comments. We are on a campsite close by so if any sexy couples fancy meeting up drop us a line. |

Vault beach is beautiful but a trek to get to so normally a number of couples and singles there without being rammed. Mid beach to far end is nudist take plenty of water with you and you'll need it for the walk back!
Long time since my wife and i have been there - now go to Studland but to sunbathe rather than play!! |

I lived in Cornwall for 2 years. Near Hayle at a place called Georgian there was a bar called sand sifter which had plenty of adult fun in the dunes.
At night a good spot is a place called perranuthnoe. Secluded car park and beach ?? |

"Don't know why but we just imagined that a lot of the people that go to nudist beaches would be swingers.
Maybe we best not ask if you we can swap partners. xx
"
Quite a number of naturists are dead against swinging . We have noticed this abroad.
Even just playing with each other to see if any interest we have offended people it would seem . However we have always managed a swap as there as many new naturists like us that like fun |

"As of today there is no public access to Fishing Cove "
Really? Such a shame. A while ago I noticed there was some fencing across the top and a warning as to the condition of the footpath. The fence did put me off trying to get down there, but there were a few hardy souls who had gone down there. Has there been more cliff movement? |

There are dunes above the beach at Perranporth, the far(eastern end) is naturist there can be some fun to be had there, the other place with dunes is the Gwithian towans and quite a bit goes on there althoughthe location within the dunes is fairly small and difficult to find. I live not far away and would be happy to show you (or anyone else reading this) the way to either with nothing expected in return (unless of course there was something else I could help with??) |

If you are looking out the estuary out to sea it is on the left / north side. pretty sure that's where they mean. |

It goes Godrevy, Gwithian, Mexico, Hayle then it's the estuary, Lelant and Carbis Bay before the St Ives beaches. There is nothing in the dunes at the Hayle end, once you go to Mexico beach and up to Gwithian is where you're likely to find fun, but you'll need to hunt the dunes.
Gutted to learn about Fishermans Cove! Love that spot. |

Sad. If that steep path falls away, a nice little beach will be inaccessible. Won't make it to Cornwall this year, but we have spend a few pleasant days at Fisherman's in the past. |

That barrier was across the foot path 2years ago when we went there was about 20people down there we climb over and went down it was very steep.
When we was down there in June there was a few people heading down but we never went down as the weather wasn't that great fishermen's cove.
We stay as St Ives bay holiday park and always walk throw the sanddunes from the campsite up to gwithian to the sunset cafe but we have never seen any swinging in the dunes other the us having quickie.lol

I've been going for years. I'm not talking about the wooden stile, that's been there for ages. Cormac have put up massive metal fences about 2 weeks ago. |

Fisherman's is as accessible as it was before the latest barricades went up. Someone cut them and threw them over the cliff. You can see them half way down from the headland, so be choosey where you sit! Latest rain has washed a lot of the steps away, though, so I'm not sure how it will fare over winter. There are also a number of other coves between there and Portreath at the bottom of the cliff-top carparks and along the cliffs, but most are either much more difficult / dangerous to get too or totally submerged at high tide (so you need to be gone around half-way point). A lot of landslips along this cliff, though. The whole cliff for several miles is very unstable. Don't sit under the cliff.
Pednevounder is amazing, but not for swingers. |

Bit confused now. I thought the cove in question was "Fishing Cove" near Gunwalloe (Check out OS Map) where there is sometimes nude bathing between there and Loe Bar. Portreath is nowhere near and on the N Coast of Cornwall. |

Different coves, AFAIK, although depending on the map I think you might find they both have various names - I know the one on Gwithian Headland is referred to by locals as Fisherman's, but is on the OS as Fishing and Castle Giver
I think 'Gunwalloe Fishing Cove' is the actual name (in full) and it's the place name of the hamlet, not the beach, which is actually just Porthleven Sands (leading to Park Bean Cove to Halzephron Cove). So there is no 'Fishing Cove' at Gunwalloe, as such...again, it's just what the locals call it.
No idea if that helps at all or not!?

Fisherman's properly open again. Barriers on path removed as bottom steps have been repaired. Still need to hold the rope to get down safely but well worth it. Fantastic for evening sunshine naked over on the rocks! |

"I am staying in Porthleven from the 23rd for 2 weeks I know that along the beach there in the coves there is unofficial nude sunbathing but dose any fun happen along there too"
I grew up in Porthleven- make your way to loe bar and walk across the bar towards halzephron |

If it's high tide you may need to come onto the beach from the Gunwalloe end and walk back towards Porthleven, can be some good fun there then ( probably because it is more cut off from the Porthleven end then). Arthur's at Falmouth is worth a visit as well. |
