Where does one head for in Manchester if one wants to have a fun night out, with ladies in their 30s/40s who are game for a laugh, bit of flirting? We are a group of guys, 8 in number - mid 30s.
Looking to avoid the WAG type bars, pretentious hipster cack-holes where everyone has beards and braces they don't require - and anywhere resembling The Jockey from Shameless (although that would be my first choice out of these 3.) Being from Glasgow, the above make up 90% of our hostelries.
Much obliged if anyone can impart some local knowledge. |

Avoid the Printworks (chav meatmarket) and Deansgate Locks (wags with partners in tow). As suggested head to Northern Quarter for the trendy bars selling weird, expensive (but good) beers or the Gay Village if you want a boogie and a chance of finding some ladies out for a good time... Have fun! |
