We're heading for Liverpool this weekend,a whole four nights away  where should we be heading for a good night out? Ideas please.. Don't mean clubs just a few decent pubs would be good . |

Here are a few suggestions for you...
The Bridewell (just a short walk from the Liverpool One shopping area). It is what it sounds like, a former police station and lock up turned pub and eaterie. Another fav of mine is The Lion Tavern, less than 5 mins walk from Matthew St which is the Beatle quarter. If you are willing to walk a bit further then pubs on/off Hardman Street include the legendary Philharmonic (aka The Phil), The Fly In The Loaf, Roscoe Head and The Grapes on Roscoe St (the last two are hidden gems).
