My name is Melanie. I'm a sex and intimacy coach. I recently got into swinging and noticed that it can be a bit of a minefield navigating asking for what you want, handling rejection and jealousy. So I thought it would be a good topic to do a workshop on.
Whether you’re new or been around for a while, whether you’re single, in a relationship or relationships, there can be many emotional hazards to
negotiate in the swinging scene. Expressing your desire to play with someone can be a more than little daunting. Saying or hearing the word ‘No’. Dealing with your partner, or even someone you’re attracted to, playing with someone else can all cause intense feelings. Or a partner that is finding it hard to handle you playing with other people.
This workshop is designed to have fun around developing your specific communication skills with partner and/or potential playmates for the
swinging scene. Learning how to ask for what you want, exactly as you want it and deal with the sting of rejection and jealousy.
Arrive at 7.45 for an 8pm start.
Cost £5 each (entrance to Newbie night is extra).
