Once last year...loved it. Done a lot of cycling challenges mainly over the years so looking forward to doing this again. Ironman was never on my list as I can't swim ??

I learned to swim at 35.

Ive also done double irons, a quintuple (5) and my claim to fame is finishing a Deca Iron. (10 in 10 days)

No, why not try fell-races

Get equally muddy, wet, cold & save money?!

I usually pay on average £5 for my races (some are even cheaper!)

And you don't get electrocuted, unless you take a short cut through the wrong field.

I was there for that ironman but in holiday not competing. It's was brutal. It's one hell of a challenge so hats off to you competing. Same I didn't know you were both there.

Nope!

Although that has happened, after stumbling, sometimes

Was hoping to go this year but works put a stop to that . Did tough mudda last year , and been going total worrier for the last 3 years . Always up for a bit of money raising .

I know what you mean about the electrocuting bit , but didn't find it that bad . The water slide hill was the worst for me . Staff standing down the sides squirting washing up liquid to make it more slippy then on the way past , getting a eye full . God that stung !!!!
