What's the difference between a secret Fuck Buddy or Affair?

If you have a secret fuck buddy and you are in a relationship, isn't that by nature then a full on affair and cheating?
We guess the only way it can be avoided is either by telling your full-time partner, or not cheating. |

If one member of a relationship is seeing someone regularly without the other knowing it's an affair.
If it's a one time thing it's a fling.
If you're in a relationship and you're partner knows you see anything person for sex and just sex that's person's a fuck buddy.
You can't have a secret fuck buddy in a relationship that falls under being an affair.
