looking for a bit of advice. off a boys trip to ambleside in the lakedistrict for some outdoor fun and not the sexual kind lol. where should we be heading??? good pubs, food, and i am going to ask but is their night life?

My sis lives in Ambleside, so good choice. The only night club is in bowness, a short drive or taxi away. Some lovely places to eat, and a few pubs, there is a outdoor pursuit place in-between Windermere and Ambleside. Few forests that do monkey ropes and assault courses.
