The New Forest has some lovely beaches - Lepe and Calshot are gorgeous. The tourist blurb for the area we live in calls it 'where the forest meets the sea'.
And all the baby donkeys are beautiful. |

One thing chi does have going for it, its not Bognor.....apparently!
My work brings me into contact once a week with people staying in the area, tourists, if you like.
Today I was having a conversation with an attractive lady about her stay. Aside from the weather this week, her big disappointment was Bognor! Admittedly a discerning lady, (which is why she was talking to me, obviously!) her opinion of the seaside town was...why? No decent restaurants, they had a sandwich from subway, because 'even the recommended restaurant looked like a greasy spoon and at least we knew what we were getting from subway!'. No decent beach or attractions. Apparently they stayed for less than an hour. Not my words, hers. But then she does drive a Porsche cayenne, so maybe her expectations were high.
So maybe Chichester does have something going for it! |

One thing about chichester, people can't drive for shit round there.
Jezus, such Crap driver's, not one of them know how to read road markings or go round a roundabout correctly.
Either to rich or to old to care? |

There are a lot of bad drivers around and a lot of old. And some of the markings, especially on the Tesco roundabout are crap!
But I do find bad drivers and bad roads aren't just indicative of Chichester! |

I was brought up in Chi. We also said you can't beat a posh Chichester lady. It's a very classy place. I went back there the other week though and the pubs are dead - on a Saturday night! Wtf
If you want to see loads of Posh Chichester ladies then you have to get dressed up and go to the Goodwood - the horse races not the cars |

The majority of my (misspent) youth was spent in and around Chichester. The barleymow, because it was my local at the time, later Chichester pubs finishing the night at the indian cottage. Those were the days!
The woodmancote has certainly picked up after the change in ownership. |
