We are travelling from the Midlands to Sleggy on a Friday, looking for a lunch stop somewhere on the way. Thinking maybe Lincoln as we're told the cathedral is worth visiting. Yes I know there's Google & trip advisor but don't know the area at all. Somewhere not too expensive but have a fussy companion so place must have a varied menu or be very accommodating.
Maybe a country pub or a quirky cafe don't mind if we take a small detour.
Does anybody have any recommendations please many thanks. |

"So nobody about in that neck of the woods?"
If you're on the way to Skegness, don't detour through Lincoln, try to bluebell Inn at Tattershall. It's on the way and very quaint. Lots of history if you're interested in world war 2 stuff...The bomber crews used to go there. Heard the food is decent too |
