Myself and the Mrs have always fancied this weekend.. Always worked weekends... Well until this yr.. Maybe we will get..off to check on availability of rooms  |

Born n beard Yorkshire so hard as nails but this year is the fist year all be in my new camer so should be a bit better last year I did have to wait for tent to deice b4 packing it away  |

For those who have not been to Whitby.
Please be aware is full of Freaks, Weirdos, Perverts, Goths, Steampunks, TVs, Cosplayers, Fetishists, exhibitionists and Voyeurs
It's filth and those attending are a blight on the general populous!!!

Top tip make the effort with dress... First year I didn't....big mistake.... Now, if we don't get photographed loads due to our 'look' it's been a bad weekend lol.

Ps big year this year so. Accom is mainly already booked. We went to book our usual place on the Sunday last year and someone had already beaten us too it...a year in advance!!!!!
Always cancellations though so keep trying. We only just got our new place...we had booked outside Whitby but found a last minute thing near the whale bones.... Cost shit-loads but what the hey!!.... It's worth it

I have very happy memories of goth week in Whitby mainly of a sexy young goth lady, who had a kink for an aging biker !
To echo the comments; its an awesome weekend....
even if you are not really goth yourself the outfits and people there are wonderful. |

We looked at Halloween week end but no accommodation any where near Whitby...closest was Garforth? Heartbeat country ?
Would prefer a place closer so don't have to drive ? Anyone know of any ?  |

Best advice is to book anywhere with the option to cancel then keep looking online for Whitby accom
We were originally outside Whitby and intended to taxi it in.....a bit crap really as it would have meant 4 taxi rides a day (2 trips)
Got a cancellation near the Spa and tbh the taxi savings and convenience being in Whitby far out way the e_tra cost we have paid

This prob a crap idea but how about a little subtle sign 2 identify each othrt like a red rose from the 90's blind date cliche but more goth lol that way if we spot each other we chould have a chat and maybe more of just give each other a knowing smile |

There are a fair few club nights going on around town, there is also posing by the Abbey

Lincoln Steampunk festival last week was absolutely awesome 2000 people... Booked hotel for next year already
Can't wait for Whitby now... Our kind of peeps
Gonna book a hotel for April this weekend too
And vampire prescription contacts yay
Need an e_tra suitcase for all our stuff though

Goths hang out at the Elsinore and Little Angel in Flowergate also the Resolution. The Angel Hotel, New Quay Road and The Pier Hotel, Pier Road. The Shambles is also an important venue, very spacious too... |
