I would agree that it is unlikely that a group of 20 would get into a swinging club but yes there are some in the north east area.
As for places to go out depends on what type of music and atmosphere you like. We have some really good bars but have very different drinking areas in the town.

Put a meet on if especially if you are town centre hotel with an Irish accent. You wont get in in a big group but the accent should get you some attention. Around central train station is pink triangle. Gate and Big Market young and sometimes trouble. Quayside is a mix. Couple of wetherspoons around bottom of Big Market x message me nearer the time with what youre after. New club in Sunderland but 15 mile cab ride away ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

Bars around central station and bigg market are best bet, pink triangles pretty good too.
As posted before a lot of bars have strict door policies regarding groups of blokes so splitting up is the best bet |
