Hello! Were both off to Amsterdam at the end of January for the first time! Very excited! 
Does anyone know of any good:
Places to eat?
Things to see/do?
Swinging clubs maybe? 
Anybody else going to be there last week of January?

The grasshopper Is a nice place to eat the foods lovley. Night time trip round the canals is very good some great buildings to view. am there the week b4 and can't wait to go back! |

My reading of dutch isn't great but the B1website seems to suggest its still there and open. The address is Reguliersbreestraat 4, 1017 CN Amsterdam. This is only moments walk from the Munt Tower.

you've defnitly got to get a peddle taxi and ask the taxi man to take you on a tour round the shops and places and then if you see places you like head there after the mini tour lol |

Leidseplein or rembrant are good
If you want to get out of the red light side as drinks are cheap and good bars there. Try coco in rembrant as good drinking bar. |

There is an amazing and really useful site called Ignatzmice{dot}{com}, silly name aside, it will tell you everything you ever needed to know about the more pleasurable aspects of the Dam.
Cafe rules and laws have changed - don't try 'smoking' outside in public, if they will even serve you now.
