we are not secrets or affiliated in any way shape or form. we agree there is little choice from the south of Yorkshire to the north of the Scottish border, we've done the research. having said that, our new club is offering something different, new and fresh to the swinging scene. la chambre has members coming far and wide to attend their club on a weekly basis without the stay over option, so we believe we can match this. we have not invested in a two pence project, we have an attractive venue that has been a long time in the making, we open in December. we're not looking or profit, we're looking to live to work, not work to live and hope we're bringing something up to date and contemporary to the northern swinging scene. a sexy club scene to bring the lifestyle bang up to date |

If you have the venue lined up and LOTS of investment to go with it we wish you well and will certainly come along to try it when you open.
But, and excuse the scepticism, over the years lots of clubs have opened up. They start off with minimal facilities and always say "all profits will go back into improving the place, tell us what you want". However, unless they have an amazing atmosphere from day 1, people try them then drift off back to the established clubs.
Take a look at Xtasia in West Brom, a very successful club, loads of different events, but imagine the investment required to come up to that standard.

That's the thing it bombed for a reason. It needs to be perfect from the day the doors open.
Good luck |

"is there room in the north east for a new swinging venue. if a new club opened what would you like to see it offer?"
Importantly, next to your market research here you need a solid business plan or it will dive faster than a sailor on a whore in Shields |

"Yes there is room for another club as there is only one now but I would say it needs to be the north of newcastle area. "
Agree it needs to be North of Newcastle.. The reason other clubs have not succeded is population, There just isnt the people in the area to support 2 clubs. We are not in Birmingham or Manchester. Clubf do it right so what ever you do it has to be right and better from day one . The other problem is Sunderland ! |

Yes, but at the time ClubF was more or less the only swingers venue in the North East. The new club has to compete with the established ClubF in Stanley.
So as someone else has said, the new club has to provide at least the same quality as ClubF to stand any chance. |

club 2000 and another one was tryed same time as club f opened not much success ,the spa or club f as it now is had cpls private partys at the same time as the sunderland 1, i didnt say it could or would compete just saying where the club f origanated from and was cany full and empty at times as per any club .so its not just the area its facilitys we try any club and do travel when can to try out other clubs .
any way clubf s got a page 1 4 and 5 into days paper |

Biggest problem with any club thats new is the Decor, ambiance , quality and members etc
Everyone wants "beautiful people" but you have to cater for the majority, also need get round the local authority & population IE location.
We would definately go even to see what it is like but feedback is important & needs to be acted on quickly as you might you downhill very fast , even by word of mouth
Good Luck tho

It might have something to do with the councils this side of the Tyne may not allow such clubs, as someone said the last club in North Tyneside was club 2000 and that first opened in an ind est in Byker before moving to a private house in North Tyneside and finally a flat at four lane ends. And then it closed.
Having said that it was not the cleanest of clubs but it was the only 1 until the TLS aka club f opened in Sunderland and then moved to Stanley |

TLS was the name when it first opened as a swingers club in Stanley, then it became the spa and finally Club f took over |

Anyone looking to open a new club in the Newcastle / Sunderland area, should maybe take a look at Youtopia in Yorkshire as in for a location maybe out of town in the country side somewhere, less chance of hassle and not having to queue up outside while none swingers or the do gooders look on |

Or, as other clubs down south have done, in premises on industrial estates. |

I saw the article on Clubf the other day absolutely brilliant advertisement for the club - the police spokesperson is fine with clubf, the council spokesperson happy with clubf, the school did not want to comment ...me thinks that couple needs to join and take your of the dungeon lol
Joking aside I think Sue and the clubf team must be applauded on their success as the best club in the North I absolutely love it !!
In reply to this thread I would say that healthy competition is good in all walks of life and location wise whether it's in Sunderland Middlesbrough or Blyth it really doesn't matter as we all have cars or know other swingers who do lol.
It really is important to have a new club in a non residential to avoid residents kicking off etc
On the actual club I think you will need to create the atmosphere and ambience for swingers to keep coming back and bring friends because there's no better advertisement than the word of mouth.
You will need to offer a number if rooms and facilities from opening night and not promise refurbishments in the coming year. The project must be all or nothing - offering a couples only room to keep out them naughty singles, open play rooms for the adventurous crowds and private play areas got those wanting some discretion. You will need a dungeon area with qualified staff in charge of the bondage equipment for the fetish crowd and for those that just want to chill and chat you'll need a friendly bar area and a dance floor ...a relaxation area consisting of a hot tub and/or sauna. Then there's the themed nights -whether party, fetish or greedy girls you must cater for all swingers.
What I've mentioned are just the basics and you must be in a position to have these before the opening night.
You must continuously keep thinking of fresh ideas and events ...and think of something other clubs have not yet thought of. If you have the money and the ideas then its not rocket science.
