fooking fantastic as always we loved every min of it met peopele we chat to for the first time and a brill nite, come on guys its not often you walk into a pub loo and some thing isnt right but you have the choice of voicing your opinon to the staff dont slag a good social. well we had a fantastic time n cant wait for the next.
for the ones that dint bother to turn up you missed a good nite out your loss. for the ones that pinched the bottles for raffle prizes SHAME ON YOU. |

Have to agree about the venue, the toilets were a mess at times, but that's what you get for mixed toilets in a venue in central manchester on a Saturday night to be expected!! The room was bloody hot too and not in a good way!! The bar was ok and very reasonably priced thought it was well organised apart from the foghorn bingo caller
We did meet some nice friendly people there, but saw alot of glum people there who looked very bored. We also left before 12 as we had had enough of it.
Some will have had a blast others less so, wouldn't stop me attending other socials just look on them differently now!!  |

I cant believe I won the raffle 3 times! What a fantastic birthday present. ..had a great night with some great people and surprisingly not hungover despite all the shots. Had no problem getting served at bar...actually thought it was very fast service. Our apologies if we didn't get to speak to you, our attention was taken by some very naughty people so didn't get chance to speak to everyone, we were the couple with the guy in the kilt xx |

I had a mixed night as a single girl. There was some really nice people there... Some a little too fuelled by alcohol it seemed but everyone around me and my 'wobbly table' were having fun.
It can be hard as a single getting conversations started as it isnt a natural process to just approach people and chat, well unless your extrovert or d*unk. Couples seem to talk to couples and sometimes if your not in a large group of singles that know each other you can feel quite out of it - noones fault just circumstance !
As for the bathroom werent they delightful! but then any pub/club bathroom will be like that after a hundred people repeatedly use it... My issue was the boys that went in for a wee and didnt even bother shutting the door ffs a little toilet ettiquette when you have to share boys
I have arranged events before and know just how hard it can be so well done to the organizers and ty.. remember you cant please some of the people some of the time and none of the people a lot of the time!
As for the raffle prizes going missing... I had left by raffle time (did I win?) but its sad that people can be so disrespectful but dont let it ruin a otherwise successful night.

We were greatful, to be added to the guest list, we did come and we stayed for abt an hour and a half, we chatted to a few people but decide it wasn't for us, so we buggered off to Cupids to get some of the rude type of fun. We hope everyone had a great night. X  |

Well we had a great time, didnt find the room too hot, but maybe thats because we were sat by the door. Never had a problem getting served, in fact would have been better if we had struggled to get served, then the hangover wouldnt be as bad.
The toilets werent fantastic, and its a bit different sharing, but never found it to be a problemm, and we both had some in depth chats with members of the opposite sex in the loos.
All in all we had a great night, and would definitely go again |

Adding our thanks to Lisa & Al who work bloody hard to give everyone a chance to meet others in the lifestyle they might not otherwise get to meet for little or no thanks !
As for the toilets...
The bar staff or organisers didn't piss all over the floor, couldnt manage to hit the bowl with the loo paper or leave bottles everywhere.... So that leaves who ??
As for the low life/s who stole the raffle prizes...Hope you choked on your own vomit !!

We both had a great nite mrs smokey has been to a cpl of socials before but my self (mr smokey) this is my first social thanxs to _landlee to a great social n great to meet some great ppl n the mrs to see to see sum old faces hehe n new ones too xx mr n mrs smokey. Be great to see to meet some of u again. For the toilets that's dwn to the mangement of the club they will get messy with bout 100 ppl usin 3 bogs with broken locks.

With you on the loos in Nap's, although I have had lots of fun in them However I would like to thank _landlee and the others who helped for putting it together. As was said earlier it wasn't the management of the venue who pissed on the floor etc. Most Village venue toliets get a bit bad on a Saturday night.
Anyway I met some old friends plus some people who will hopefully become friends. Had a good time and look forward to going to more. A good night in general. Went to Naps later which lead to a lovely end to the night and a great morning early afternoon |

This was the 4th time that I have been to Alandlee's Manchester Social, and I am already looking forward to the next one!
The party was full of lovely and interesting folk! OK, the great crowd meant it got a little bit warm after the first hour (wear fewer clothes!). The great crowd meant it took two/three minutes to get served at the bar (just be patient!).
I watched the staff work really hard before the event opened. If there were problems with the loos during the evening, I hope peeps reported these to the staff - the staff were working 'flat out' to keep up with the demand at the bar, and doing a great job, in my opinion!
All in all, a great evening, and one I can't wait to repeat. Thanks again, _landlee xxxx

myself and mrs squeaks had a brilliant time for the most part, was our first manchester social and deffo the best we have experienced, brilliant job done organising it, thanks too _landlee and thanks too the ladies that supported mrs squeaks after she was touched by a cretin |

We travelled along way for this social and so glad we did. We had a fantastic night, met up with some friends we had known from other venues and made lots of new friends.
Organising parties is a thankless job and not at all easy to find a venue that will welcome swingers.
The toilets weren't the best but in all honesty unless you visit a 5 star place all toilets on a weekend in a pub or club are in a mess. And in lots of clubs these days the toilets are mixed.
You get out of these parties what you put in and I'm sure more people enjoyed it than didn't. You can't please everyone.
We will def go up to Manchester should there be another one to see our new northern friend and hopefully make more. |
